چکیده
The feeding trial was carried out to compare the effect of probiotic, synbiotic and neem (Azadirachta indica) leaf as alternatives antibiotic in broiler chicken diets. experiment performed for a period 28 days with number 500 day-old straight run chicks. Birds were divided into five dietary treatment groups 4 replications having 25 birds each. were; control (Basal diet), synbiotic, powder (NLP) group. experimental diets consisted starter (day-old 14 days) grower (15 days). supplementation NLP had significant on growth performance. Diets supplemented showed significantly (p<0.05) higher live weight gain at end probiotic also body compared almost similar performance Better FCR noticed group (1.60) (1.79), (1.65), (1.69) (1.70). There no differences meat quality characteristics among groups. cost production per kg slightly lower With regards profit, profitability than other result indicated that diet positive profitability. It is therefore suggest could be potential feed additives considered better alternative production.

The present work aimed at studying growth pattern and carcass traits in pearl grey guinea fowl fed on dietary Neem (Azadirachta indica) leaf powder (NLP) over a period of 12 weeks. Day old guinea fowl keets (n=120) were randomly assigned to four treatment groups, each with 3 replicates. The first treatment was designated as control (T0) in which no supplement was added to the feed, while in tre...
